"PM ka mann Delhi me kam lag raha hai, UP me zyada. Agar aisa hai to humse kursi adla badli kar lein," Akhilesh said.
Taking a jibe at Narendra Modi’s extensive Varanasi campaign, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said that “PM may swap chairs if he wants.” “PM ka mann Delhi me kam lag raha hai, UP me zyada. Agar aisa hai to humse kursi adla badli kar lein (If the PM does not like to stay in Delhi and likes UP more, he can swap places),” Akhilesh said. Akhilesh further attacked Modi for turning electricity into a Hindu-Muslim issue. “Our Prime Minister is unique…He has made power a Hindu and Muslim (issue) by alleging that our government used to supply more power during Ramzan than in Diwali and Holi. We have given the data which proved we did not discriminate,” he said.
Akhilesh further attacked PM Modi for hollow claims, the UP Chief Minister said that he introduced schemes like Dial 100 and ‘102 Ambulance’ service, while PM is unable to tell what he has done for the state. “Humne Dial 100 scheme laagu ki, Ambulance ke liye dial 102 scheme introduce ki, Modi Ji bataye unhone kya kiya,(we introduced dial 100, 102 for ambulances, Modi ji should tell what he has done,” Akhilesh said.
In another comment, Akhilesh said that BJP keeps on flaunting patriotism, but its due to this government’s policies that maximum number of casulities have happened to Army. “Inhone strikes ki, ek bhi aatanki pakad ke nahi laaye, jabki inke nitiyo ke kaaran hamari army ke sabse jyada Jawano ki casualities hui hain, (They carried out surgical strikes, they didn’t capture any terrorist, instead it’s due tyo their policies that most number of army Jawans have lost lives since Modi has taken over as PM)” Akhilesh said.
“PM yaha(Badlapur) aaye, unhone ek bhi baar yaha ke saheedo ka naam nahi liya, ye BJP wale jyada desh bhakt bante hain,” Akhilesh said. “Arey UP ki government hai jisne shaheedo ko 20-20 Lakh diye, 20 lakh vidhwao ke liye, or iske eleava 5 lakh Maa-baap ko bhi diye (PM came here, he didn’t mention about martyrs once, UP governement jas anounced Rs 20-20),” Akhilesh added.
