After Manohar Parrikar won the trust vote in Goa Assembly, Congress leader Digvijay Singh today lamented that money power proved stronger than people’s power finally. “Finally Money Power proves to be stronger than People’s Power.

“People of Goa defeated BJP but those who got elected on anti BJP vote sold Goa to BJP. Sad,” he tweeted. The Congress failed to cobble up a majority despite winning 17 of the 40 seats in Goa, even as all opposition members other than Congress joined hands with BJP to form a government under Parrikar.
