Lucknow Lok Sabha Constituency Result 2019

Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, is among the 80 Lok Sabha seats of this politically crucial northern state. In 2014, Raj Nath Singh of BJP had won from this constituency with a vote share of 54.27 per cent. Sitting MP and incumbent Home minister Rajnath Singh is up against spiritual leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam of the Congress and Poonam Sinha of the Samajwadi Party. In the previous general election, Singh had defeated Rita Bahuguna Joshi, then with the Congress, by a margin of 2,72,000 votes. Voting in Lucknow was held on May 6 in the fifth phase and voter turnout was recorded at 53 percent.
