UGC NET Results 2022 Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the results for University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test 2022 today. Once released, the candidates who have taken the test, can check the results at the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The NTA has already released the UGC NET 2022 final answer key at its official website. The results for UGC-NET for December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) are expected to be released today. Candidates can also check the results at nta.ac.in.

This year, the NET examinations was held in four phases — the first phase was conducted from July 9 to 12, the second phase was from September 20 to 23, the third phase was from September 29 to October 4, and the final phase from October 8 to 14.

The NTA will display the Question Paper and attempted recorded responses by the candidates on the NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in prior to declaration of result for two to three days.
The selection of candidates for the following Fellowships of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Minorities Affairs is also made through the UGC-NET apart from JRFship and Assistant Professor posts.
• National Fellowship for Scheduled Caste Students (NFSC)
• National Fellowship for Other Backward Classes (NFOBC)
• Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students (MANF)
Candidates aspiring for the Fellowships listed above, shall also have to apply for the Test.
The dates for the December 2021 and June 2022 exam cycles were merged due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was done to regularise the exam cycles post the pandemic-induced delay so that from December 2022 onwards exams take place according to earlier mandates.
Any dispute regarding the conduct of UGC-NET 2022 for the merged June and December cycle will fall within the jurisdiction of Delhi or New Delhi only. Any legal dispute on this matter will be entertained only if it is raised within 30 days from the date of declaration of result.
Candidates can apply for JRF or Assistant Professor positions or both. The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship are awarded to candidates depending on their aggregate performance in papers 1 and 2 of UGC-NET. However, candidates qualifying for Assistant Professorship only cannot be eligible for JRFship as well.
Candidates need to secure at least 40 per cent overall marks in both the papers for the General and EWS categories, while candidates from SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD and third Gender have to score 35 per cent marks to qualify for the examination.
Candidates were asked to raise objections to the provisional answer key of UGC NET after which the final answer keys were released. The final answer keys cannot be challenged
The UGC NET December 2021-June 2022 (merged cycles) exams were conducted in 541 centres across the country, according to IE. This year the exam was conducted in four phases beginning from September 23 to ending on October 14
There are chances of NTA releasing the UGC NET 2022 results today. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.
The JRF letter is valid only for four years from the day the letter is issued. However, the NET eligibility certificate for Assistant Professors is valid for lifetime.
NTA has not given any provision for re-checking of UGC NET results. Candidates are also not allowed to raise any objections to final answer key. They can only challenge the provisional key.
Once NTA announces the UGC NET 2022 results, here's how you can check the scorecards:
1. Visit the official UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.nic.in
2: Click on link that says 'display of results and final answer key'.
3: Log in by entering application number and password or application number and date of birth
4: The results will appear on your screen. You can download them for future reference as well.
The National Testing Agency has not announced the date or time for UGC NET 2022result yet. But they are likely to announce the results soon.
Candidates will need their Application Number and password or date of birth for getting access to the results.
The NTA will save the record of UGC NET results of December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) up to 90 days from the date the results are announced.
The UGC NET scorecard will have the following details:
1. Name of the candidate
2. Paper 1 and paper 2 score
3. Maximum marks
The candidates are advised to make sure that the details they have mentioned on the UGC NET result scorecards are correct as any error can lead to mistakes in final marksheet and e-certificate as well.

The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 31 years which is applicable only for December 2021 and June 2022 cycles.

There will no rechecking of answers once the results are out. NTA will not be entertaining any such requests.
