UGC NET Result January 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of National Eligibility Test (NET) today at cbsenet.nic.in. CBSE conducted the UGC NET January Exam 2017 on the behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) on January 22 this year at selected cities across India. The results are also now available on the official website of CBSE, cbse.nic.in after it has been announced by the board. Candidates who successfully clear the examination will be eligible for a Junior Research Fellowship and for the post of an Assistant Professor. The selected candidates will be recruited for the post as per rules and regulations set by the board.
According to a notice on the homepage of CBSE NET, “The role of CBSE is only upto the conduct of NET Examination and declaration of result. The e-certificates to a qualified candidate are issued by UGC- NET Bureau. So the candidates declared qualified in NET are informed to contact Head, UGC NET Bureau, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg , New Delhi, Pin Code-110021, Phone No. (011-24116316, 24115416, 24115419).”
Candidates need to keep in mind that the website might experience technical glitches as soon the results have been declared. In such a case, keep calm and try again after allowing some time to pass. Repeated attempts will only make the situation worse.
UGC NET January Exam Result 2017:
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to check their results-
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE Net at cbsenet.nic.in
Step 2: Once you enter the website, clink on the link that says, ‘Check CBSE UGC NET Jan Results 2017’
Step 3: Enter the details requested and then click on submit
Step 4: Your result will then be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Save your result and take a print out of the same for future reference
