TANATA 2017: The Anna University is all set to conduct Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture (TANATA) on August 12, for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch), which is vacant after allotment through counselling, Indian Express said. As per report, the online registration for the test began from today and will end on July 31. In case of vacant seats, these will be filled on basis of marks obtained in +2 exams and also marks obtained in TANATA 2017.
Interested candidates can download the hall tickets from August 8. Results of entrance exam would be out on August 18. They can also download their mark sheets on August 19. The exam will be conducted in n six cities of Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchi,Chennai, Salem and Tirunelveli.
This test will be conducted to check the aptitude of candidates in the field of architecture. It will also help in making assessment of drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, mathematics and critical thinking ability, Indian Express said. The results of TANATA 2017, will be calculated on the basis of at least 25 percent must be secured in MCQ portion (30 out of 120), 25 per cent in drawing portion (20 out of 80) and overall qualifying marks (out of total of 200) would be based on post-exam statistics and at discretion of Coordination Committee of TANATA 2017, paper added.
Meanwhile, answer keys of Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) will be released by the Department of School Education Hyderabad in next few days. Candidates who had earlier appeared for the same are needed to download the keys from the official website www.tstet.cgg.gov.in. This exam was conducted on July 23 at 1,574 centres across the state. The unofficial answer keys of set — A, B, C and D have already been released by some website, said Indian Express.
