The SP Jain flagship Global MBA program, for the fifth year in a row, has been ranked in world’s top 20 international programs by Forbes. This ranking is based on the return on investment achieved by graduates. For releasing this list, Forbes compared the earnings of the Class of 2012 in their first five years post-MBA. As per the press release issued by the institute, it reported close to a six-fold increase in salaries – from a pre-MBA salary of USD 9,000 to USD 50,000 (in 2016). Apart from this, the institute has also been ranked number 1 in terms of salary growth for all 5 years.

“Our ranking among the world’s best business schools by reputed international publications is a direct reflection of how well our graduates have been able to perform. To be the only school of Indian-origin in the ranking is thrilling!” Nitish Jain, President of SP Jain Global said reacting to the news.

The graduates of the institute are working with prestigious organisations like Boston Consulting Group, P&G, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Nike, Unilever, Apple, World Economic Forum and Barclays, all leading global corporations.

“Our goal is to train our graduates for top companies around the world. Our students have the unique benefit of studying 3 countries. They understand how to operate in a global business environment – a skill much valued by recruiters. They undertake projects with top companies, interact with business leaders and thinkers, go on cultural tours and develop important global skills. These skills have led to better jobs, salaries, and better graduate outcomes,” Dean of the program shares, Dr Indu Niranjan said.

This news comes just days after the institute had announced successful placements for its recently graduated Global MBA Class of 2017. At USD 34,494, the Class of 2017 witnessed a 36% increase in average starting salaries as compared to the previous batch’s USD 25,295, placing SP Jain Global among the top b-schools of Indian-origin in terms of graduate outcomes.
