RRB NTPC Tier 2 results: Candidates who have appeared for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC Stage 2 examination 2017 might have to wait a little longer to know their results. In a report published by Jansatta website, the results for the RRB NTPC Stage 2 examination, which was expected to be announced in April, has been delayed due to some technical issues. So far there has been no update from the RRB on the exact date on which results will be announced.
However, according to NDTV website, RRB officials from three boards including Allahabad, Bhopal and Bhubaneswar have confirmed that the results announcement will take some more time. The delay in results is driving anxiety in the candidates as can be seen from their posts on the issue in various social media platforms.
NDTV has also informed that the board, along with the update on result declaration, is also coming up with some major announcement related to RRB NTPC recruitment process. The update for the same can be expected in the weeks to come, according to the report.

Speaking to PTI, a senior Railway Ministry officer said, out of the 55 lakh candidates who appeared for the examination, only 2.73 lakh were able to qualify in the preliminary round. These candidates were then called for the written test that was held on January 17-19. The Railways recruitment board had also released the answer keys of the recently conducted stage 2 computer-based test (CBT). The answer sets were released by the respective websites of the RRB. In case of dissatisfaction or when it came to queries related to the answers, students were allowed to challenge the same between January 24-30.
RRB NTPC is world’s largest online examination and it witnessed great response from government job aspirants in the country. More than 90 lakh candidates are said to have registered for the examination out of which nearly 55 lakh appeared for it.
