PSEB 10th, 12th date sheet 2018: Punjab board announces schedule for class X and XII exams, students can check at pseb.ac.in

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the datesheet for class XII and X exams on its official website pseb.ac.in

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the datesheet for class XII and X exams on its official website pseb.ac.in. While, the Class XIIboard exam will begin from February 28, the class X board exam will commence from March 12. The last date for Class XII exam is March 24, wgile for Class X it is March 31.

As per PSEB Chairman Krishan Kumar, dates for both regular and open school students have been announced. All exams will be for three hours. Students will also get 15 minutes extra time for reading the question paper. The board also said that differently-abled students will get 20 minutes extra time for every hour. the class X exam will be conducted between 10 am to 1:15 pm and class XII exams between 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Flying squads will also conduct checks in different schools across the state.

Here is how you can check datesheet online:

1) Candidates appearing for exams will have to log in to th official site of the board pseb.ac.in

2) Upon logging the website, students must click on the link ‘Public Notice Regarding Date Sheet Matric And Senior Secondary March 2018’
3) After this the datesheet will be displayed.

4) Now you can download the datesheet for future use.

In 2017, results of class XII recorded lowest pass percentage in three years. From 76.77 pass percentage in 2016, it dropped to 62.36 last year.

Amisha Arora of RS Model senior secondary school in Ludhiana bagged the top rank. She scored 98.44 per cent. The board had for the first time also abolished the “marks moderation system”, through which grace marks were agiven to students so as to to improve their final score, resulting in a higher pass percentage.
