Kerala SET 2017: Results announced; visit lbskerala.com for details

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology (LBSCS & T) on Saturday announced the results of Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) July 2017. Students can check their results from the official LBS website – lbskerala.com. The examination that was held in the month of August had 2 papers consisting 120 questions each which carried 1.5 marks per question. Paper 1 was common for everyone and was divided into two parts – General Knowledge and Aptitude. Paper 2 was based on candidates’ Post Graduation stream, reported NDTV. Paper 2 was set according to the subject of specialisation at post graduate level. Candidates can check their result individually or else can check the list of roll numbers for qualified candidates.

Here is a step by step procedure to check your Kerala SET 2017 results:

Step 1: Log on to the official LBS website – lbskerala.com.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link which reads ‘State Eligibility Test – July 2017-Result Published on 16/9/17’

Step 3: Enter the required information such as enrollment number, name etc.

Step 4: After submitting the details, hit the submit button and results will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Take a printout of your result for future reference.

In order to obtain the SET certificate, candidates can also download the copy of application format along with the complete form. Candidates will need to attach the attested copies of documents such as relevant page of the SSLC book to prove name and date of birth, provisional certificate and mark sheet of Post Graduate degree, provisional or original certificate of B.Ed degree and others.

Conducted by the Kerala government, the SET examination is aimed at selecting candidates for the post of higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE). In order to get appointment as higher secondary teachers in Kerala, it is must for aspirants to clear the SET.
