JEE mains 2017 Results: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains 2017 examination results on April 27 (Thursday) on the official website of JEE Mains. The Answer keys and OMR sheets of the mains 2017 examination were released by CBSE on April 18. The exam was conducted by the board on April 2 and candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results as the link is now active on the official website by the board authorities. The links to the answer keys and recorded responses of Paper 1 was active on the official website from April 18-22 only for candidates to check and challenge if they were not satisfied. The official notification for the release of Answer keys and OMR sheets was made on the official website and now they are available, however, the notifications about the JEE Mains 2017 examination results is yet to be made by the board.
How to check JEE Mains 2017 Exam Results:
Follow the below mentioned steps to check your JEE results-
1. Visit the official website of JEE mains at jeemain.nic.in
2. Once you enter the home page of the home page of the website click on the link ‘JEE mains 2017 Results’
3. Now enter your application number, Date of birth and security pin
4. Press log in to view your Results
Candidates who successfully clear the JEE mains 2017 examination will be able to appear for the JEE Advance 2017 Examination.
What is JEE Mains 2017:
This exam is for students who want to pursue BE or B.Tech (engineering colleges) qualifications stemming from Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). The scores of the Mains examination will include the actual marks obtained in the Mains examination along with the status which will determine whether or not a candidate qualifies for JEE Advance 2017. Ranks declared along with the JEE Mains examination will include both All India and All India category ranking.
