The month-long wait for students who appeared for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and CA final Examination is over today as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) released the results. While the CA CPT exam was conducted in the month of December 2017 and CA final Exam was conducted in November 2017. Candidates can check their results as soon they have been made available on the website. The website might work slow or even crash due to heavy traffic at the time when the ICAI result 2017 will be released. Candidates can check their CA CPT result, CA final results on the official website once the result link has been activated by ICAI.

8:00 PM: CA Final is conducted twice a year. For the exam conducted in May/June, a total of 1,32,007 students appeared in the CA final examination.
7:26 PM: In Group I, the pass percentageis onlyy 15.91% while in the Group II exams it is 15.11%. The overall pass percentage remained at 22.76 per cent.
7:17 PM: CA. Nilesh S. Vikamsey, President, ICAI said, “I congratulate all rank-holders and successful candidates for their hard work and results. However, I would like to convey to all candidates who could not qualify despite their hard work, to plan and study efficiently and work harder, which will eventually help them in achieving success”
6:56 PM: This time the all India topper is from Karnal– Mohit Gupta. The second position is secured by two boys in Delhi– Prashant and Aditya Mittal. Out of total 800 marks, Mohit Gupta has scored 587 marks.
6: 50 PM: This year, as many as 63,035 students have appeared for the CPT exam in 327 centres across the world.Out of 39328 candidates, 6257 passed.

4:10 PM: To check the ICAI CA Final, CPT exam result, the student will have to enter their registration no. or PIN no. along with roll number.
4:00 PM: The results of the Final Examination and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) will also be sent to the registered e-mail addresses of the candidates, as per ToI.
3: 43 PM: The results will now be declared at around 8.00 PM on 17th January 2018.

02:00 PM: Result of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in November 2017 and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in December 2017 are likely to be declared on Wednesday, the 17th January 2018 around 8:00pm
01:45 PM: The CPT 2017 examination was held in two sessions. In the morning session, the Fundamentals of Accounting and Mercantile Law paper was conducted after which the General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude was held. A minimum of 170 question has to be attempted to pass the exam.
01:40 PM: ICAI from next month launch four new courses namely – executive diploma in business valuation, certificate course in arbitration, certificate course in GST and an exclusive executive diploma in Cost and Management Accounting for Engineers for professionals. Both members and non-members, can enroll for these courses.
