OROP notification: Deputy CM hails Narendra Modi govt for implementing One Rank One Pension scheme

Jammu and Kashmir's Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh today hailed the recent initiative by the Centre of acceding to the demands of ex-servicemen and announcing the One Rank One Pension (OROP) notification for the implementation of the scheme.

Singh said that the step would go a long way in addressing the demands of ex-servicemen, who had been demanding the implementation of OROP scheme since long.

He said the move of the Centre speaks volumes about the Centre’s motive to address long-pending issues and demands and should be welcomed by everyone.
