Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Saturday said the Bharatiya Janata Party was emotionally committed towards the Indian Army.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Saturday said the Bharatiya Janata Party was emotionally committed towards the Indian Army.

Rathore also appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for delivering the One Rank One Pension (OROP) within 15 months of his rule.

“Within 15 months, the PM delivered this; this shows we have emotional commitment towards Indian Army,” said Rathore.

He also lashed out at the Congress for not delivering the OROP during their rule.

“In the last 42 years, the Congress Government was not able to deliver the OROP. Even if they would have declared it, it would be a 1300 crore OROP. We have declared a 8000 to 10,000 crore scheme. Our scheme is the OROP in true sense,” added Rathore.

The NDA Government made an announcement regarding the acceptance of the OROP today. But, they accepted only one out of the six points put forward by the protesting war veterans.
