Meanwhile, Delhiites woke up to another pleasant morning, with rain bearing clouds engulfing the city. According to Skymet Weather, another spell of rain and thundershowers can be expected.
The rain activity can be attributed to the east-west trough extending along the Indo-Gangetic plains with two cyclonic circulations embedded on it. The trough is seen running in very close proximity to Delhi and have kept the weather over the city pleasant for last few days.
According to the weather forecaster, Southwest Monsoon remains active over Northeast India and along the West Coast. Most parts of these regions have recorded heavy to very heavy Monsoon rainfall.

Over West Coast of India and adjoining South Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu coast another cyclonic circulation is brewing to give more showers in the coming days.
