Do you remember the cost of petrol or diesel you paid for in 2010? Or for that matter how many of your friends and family were aware about the social media platforms, especially Facebook? It would amaze you that if a comparison is established between year 2010 and 2015, monthly active Facebook users increased by 161 per cent to 160 crore in 2015. In 2010, number of users on Facebook stood at 60 crore.

During the past 5 years, cost of iron ore, Brent oil and Gold fell 77 per cent, 60 per cent and 25 per cent respectively, globally. Gold prices declined from $1421 per ounce in 2015 to $1,063 per ounce by the end of 2015.

The popular internet video channel YouTube also witnessed a transition from 2010 to 2015 with 16.67 times rise in hours of video uploading time per minute. It was at 24 hours per minute in 2010.
