The Ministry of Railways has revised the schedule of four Vande Bharat Express trains operated by the South Western Railway. According to the ministry, a total of 164 Vande Bharat train services were operational across the country as of January 31, 2026.

The revised timings will apply to four trains: train number 20704 Yesvantpur–Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express, train number 20703 Kacheguda–Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, train number 22231 Kalaburagi–SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and train number 22232 SMVT Bengaluru–Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express. The new schedule will come into effect from March 15, 2026.

Below are the updated timing for all four Vande Bharat Express trains:

Train number 20703 Kacheguda–Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express

The train was flagged off on September 24, 2023 and began commercial operations on September 25, 2023. It runs on all days except Friday. The arrival time at Hindupur railway station has been slightly changed. Under the new schedule, the train will now reach the station at 3:55 pm instead of 3:48 pm.

Train number 20704 Yesvantpur–Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express

This train was also introduced on September 24, 2023 and started commercial operations the next day. It runs every day except Friday. The timing at Hindupur railway station has been revised, and the train will now arrive at 12:17 pm instead of 12:08 pm.

Train number 22231 Kalaburagi–SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express

This train operates on all days except Friday and covers a distance of about 550 km in 8 hours and 45 minutes. The timings have been changed at two stations: Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam railway station, where the train will now arrive at 11:13 am instead of 11:00 am, and Yelahanka railway station, where the new arrival time will be 12:58 pm instead of 12:28 pm.

Train number 22232 SMVT Bengaluru–Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express

This train runs on all days except Thursday. Its schedule has been revised at two stations. At Yelahanka railway station, the train will now arrive at 3:09 pm instead of 3:05 pm. At Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam railway station, the arrival time has been changed to 4:45 pm from the earlier 4:23 pm.

Earlier, the Ministry of Railways revised the schedule of the Coimbatore–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train connecting Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu with Bengaluru in Karnataka.

Train number 20642, the Coimbatore–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, departs from Coimbatore at 7:25 am and arrives at Bengaluru Cantonment at 1:45 pm. On the return journey, train number 20641, the Bengaluru–Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express, leaves Bengaluru at 2:20 pm and reaches Coimbatore at 8:40 pm.

The South Western Railway has revised the arrival timing of train number 20642 at Hosur, with the change set to take effect from March 15. Under the new schedule, the train will reach Hosur 10 minutes later than earlier. Instead of arriving at 12:03 pm, it will now reach the station at 12:13 pm.

The Coimbatore–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express started its regular services on January 1, 2024. Since then, it has become a preferred travel option for passengers moving between the two cities, particularly business travellers and daily commuters.
