Amrit Bharat train, Howrah-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express Train: Indian Railways (IR) is set to unveil a new Amrit Bharat Express train between Howrah and Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal).
This new-generation train is supposed to enhance connectivity on one of the busiest rail routes in the country. As per railway officials interviewed by Indian express, this modern train is expected to offer a travel experience comparable to the Vande Bharat Express.
As per a report by the Indian Express, the upcoming train is specifically designed to provide affordable and high-quality service for passengers from lower and lower-middle income category.
Howrah-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express: Check route
Operating under train number 13065, Howrah-Delhi Amrit Bharat will run via Bandel, Barddhaman, Asansol, Gaya, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Lucknow. Meanwhile the Delhi-Howrah Amrit Bharat service will run as train number 13066.
According to a report by The Indian Express, the Howrah Amrit Bharat Express commuting from Howrah to Anand Vihar Terminal will run as a weekly service. From Howrah, train number 13065 will depart on Thursday. On its return journey, the train is scheduled to take Saturday.
The train will consist of 20 coaches, aligning with the standard Amrit Bharat configuration aimed at handling long-distance passenger volumes.
