From tri-weekly to daily service: Brahmapur–Surat Amrit Bharat Express; New schedule, route and halts here 

The move, announced by the East Coast Railway, is going to benefit a large number of passengers who regularly travel on this route. 

With the train now running every day, passengers will have greater flexibility in planning their journeys and better connectivity between eastern and western India.

Udhna–Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express: Schedule, Route 

The Udhna–Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express (Train No. 19022) started its daily service on July 9, 2026. Meanwhile, the Brahmapur–Udhna Amrit Bharat Express (Train No. 19021) will begin its daily service from today (July 10, 2026).

Full route and major halts

During its journey, the Brahmapur–Surat (Udhna) Amrit Bharat Express will halt at several stations including Udhna Junction, Bardoli, Vyara, Navapur, Nandurbar, Dondaicha, Sindkheda, Amalner, Dharangaon, Jalgaon Junction, Bhusaval Junction, Malkapur, Akola Junction, Badnera Junction, Wardha Junction, Nagpur Junction, Gondia Junction, Durg, Raipur Junction, Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram Junction, Srikakulam Road, Palasa and Brahmapur.

Relief for passengers between Odisha and Gujarat

The decision to make the Brahmapur–Surat (Udhna) Amrit Bharat Express a daily service will bring major relief to passengers travelling between Odisha and Gujarat.

Earlier, the train operated only three days a week, forcing many passengers to plan their journeys around its limited schedule.

With the train now running every day, passengers will have more travel options and greater flexibility. It will also make it easier for people from towns and cities along the route to plan their journeys without waiting for a specific operating day.
