Bengaluru–Mumbai superfast train to roll out in June—Check train route, stops and benefits here

The Union Minister stated that Vaishnaw has informed him that the Bengaluru–Mumbai Superfast Train will be launched by the end of June. The train will run from Bengaluru to the commercial city of Mumbai via the central Karnataka route, passing through Tumakuru, Davanagere, Haveri, Hubballi-Dharwad, and Belagavi.

In April 2026, Vaishnaw announced that Indian Railways will launch a new superfast train service between Bengaluru and Mumbai. The proposed train will pass through major cities in Karnataka, including Hubballi and Dharwad, before heading towards Mumbai, thereby enhancing connectivity across important urban and economic regions.
