Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited has appointed Vedanarayanan Seshadri as its Managing Director effective from May 28, 2025. With over three decades of extensive experience in the BFSI sector, including 15 years specifically dedicated to senior leadership roles within the insurance domain, Seshadri brings a portfolio of expertise to the company, according to an official press release.
His professional background includes insurance distribution, profitable growth strategies and leveraging digital transformation to significantly enhance customer experiences.

Seshadri holds diverse academic credentials, having earned degrees in engineering, marketing, and finance, complemented by an Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD, France. His comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and digital innovation, positions him ideally to navigate Royal Sundaram through the evolving landscape of the insurance industry, the release mentioned.
