National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings), the main engineering company of the CKA Birla Group, has partnered with Ahamani EV Technology India Pvt. Ltd. (“Ahamani India”), the Indian arm of Taiwan’s Ahamani Advanced Inc. The two companies have joined hands to boost the use and development of next-generation drone technology in India. As part of this partnership, NBC Bearings will buy a 30% stake in Ahamani India, according to an official release.
By bringing together Ahamani’s advanced drone platforms and control systems with NBC’s engineering and manufacturing strengths, the partnership aims to meet the fast-growing demand for drones across different sectors, the release said.

Accelerating market adoption of advanced drone solutions
Ahamani India claims that it will act as the main platform to increase the supply of high-performance drones and important components designed for Indian needs. Using the technology that Ahamani has developed in Taiwan, the partnership will work on providing reliable, scalable, and affordable drone solutions for multiple applications and industries, the release mentioned.

Recently, NBC Bearings has expanded its technological footprint by acquiring European-based Kinex Bearings and entering a strategic partnership in 2026 with Ahamani EV Technology to pioneer next-generation drone systems, according to an official statement.
