Corporate India is bracing for a major dividend payout spree. Several large-cap stocks are set to turn ex-dividend this week. More than 50 companies will check their record books, including some major names: Multi Commodity Exchange, Senco, and the like.

PSU stocks of NALCO, Power Finance Corporation, and NBCC (India) will also be in focus over their dividend payout. To make sure you don’t miss out on any major dividend payouts, here are all the details you need to know

August 24: Gillette India and NALCO to turn ex-dividend

The week will start off with PSU stocks in focus, as National Aluminium Company will turn ex-dividend for its final dividend payout of Re 1 per share, and state-run power-generation firm SJVN will also check its record books on Monday, August 24, to determine the shareholder eligibility for its final dividend of Rs 0.35 per share. 

FMCG major Gillette India has also fixed the record date of August 24 for its Rs 60 per share final dividend payout, and markets will also focus on Senco Gold’s Rs 1 per share final dividend. A total of 10 companies are slated to check their record books on Monday. 

August 25: Small Caps in focus

Small-cap companies like Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals will turn ex-dividend on Tuesday, August 25, for its final dividend payout of Rs 10 per share, and Aditya Vision will check its record book on the same date for its Rs 1.25 per share final dividend. 

Shareholder eligibility for MAS Financial Services Rs 0.75 per share final dividend, Mobavenue AI Tech’s Rs 0.50 per share final dividend, and Diffusion Engineers Rs 1.50 per share final dividend will be determined on Tuesday as well, as a total of eight companies are set to turn ex-dividend on August 25. 

August 27: PFC and Procter & Gamble in focus

A total of 6 companies will check their record books on Thursday, August 27. Of these, streets will especially watch out for Power Finance Corporation’s interim dividend payout of Rs 3.90 per share. 

Then, consumer goods firm Procter & Gamble Health will also ascertain the shareholder eligibility for its Rs 45 per share final dividend payout on Thursday. Additionally, DOMS Industries will also be in focus for its Rs 3.65 per share final dividend. 

August 28: Busiest day for corporate India

Stock of Multi Commodity Exchange goes ex-dividend on Friday, August 28, for its Rs 8 per share final dividend payout. NBCC (India) Rs 0.46 per share final dividend, and Paras Defence and Space Technologies’ Rs 1 per share final dividend will be in focus as well. 

Additionally, large caps including Whirlpool of India’s Rs 5 per share final dividend, Honasa Consumer’s Rs 3 per share final dividend, and DAM Capital Advisors’ Rs 1 per share final dividend will garner investor interest. In all, a total of 30 companies will turn ex-dividend on Friday. 

Conclusion

A total of 54 companies will check their record books this week, with large caps like Gillette India, Whirlpool of India, and Procter & Gamble Health’s dividends likely to attract heavy investor interest. PSU stocks of NALCO, PFC, and SJVN will also gain traction as investors review their record books this week.
