UltraTech Cement reported a 26.8 per cent YoY profit growth in the third quarter of FY26. The Aditya Birla Group company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,729 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to a net profit of Rs 1,363 crore in Q3 FY25. 

UltraTech Cement’s revenue grew by 22.7 per cent YoY during the December quarter. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations grew to Rs 21,829 crore in Q3 FY26, from Rs 17,778 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal year.

The cement major’s EBITDA stood at Rs 4,051 crore in Q3 FY26, growing by 29 per cent on a yearly basis during the quarter. The company said that due to the new labour codes, it saw an impact of Rs 88.4 crore in the quarter. 

UltraTech operational growth

UltraTechCement said its overall capacity utilisation stood at 77 per cent in Q3 FY26, compared to 72 per cent in the same period last year. UltraTech said it achieved 29 per cent growth in domestic grey cement markets, excluding the sales volumes of India Cements and Kesoram.

The company said its domestic grey cement capacity stood at  188.66 mtpa. The company said that, along with 5.4 mtpa of cement capacity in the UAE, its global capacity has now reached 194.06 mtpa.

The company said it commissioned 0.6 mtpa of cement capacity at its grinding unit at Dhule Cement Works, Maharashtra, and 1.2 mtpa at its integrated unit at Nathdwara Cement Works, Rajasthan. 

UltraTechcapex plans 

UltraTechCement said that its subsidiary, India Cements, has initiated the next phase of its expansion, adding 22.8 mtpa of capacity through a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects. 

During Q3 FY26, UltraTechCement spent Rs 2,357 crores on its ongoing capex program and reduced its net debt/EBITDA to 1.08x.

“In line with its stated commitment towards enhancing environment conservation measures, UltraTech commenced 14 MW of WHRS capacity during the quarter. With this, the Company’s total WHRS capacity stands augmented to 383 MW. The share of green power in the Company’s power mix is 42.1% for the quarter.” the company said.
