Tata Consultancy Services has partnered with the US-based semiconductor chip manufacturer AMD to integrate Ryzen CPU-powered client solutions to deliver workplace transformation. This partnership leverages AMD’s GPUs and CPUs, such as AMD EPYC and AMD Instinct, to modernise hybrid cloud and high-performance computing environments.

In an exchange filing, TCS stated that the strategic partnership will help enterprises scale AI adoption from pilots to production, modernise legacy environments, and build secure, high-performance digital workplaces. 

The company added that the AMD embedded computing portfolio will help its customers drive edge innovation, inference, and industrial digitalisation through adaptive System-on-Chips and Field Programmable Gate Arrays. 

In its Q3 FY26 statement, TCS said that its annualised AI Services Revenue in the quarter stood at $1.8 billion, up 17.3% QoQ in constant currency.

Software and hardware partnership 

The strategic collaboration between TCS and AMD brings together the combined strengths of an industry-leading software firm and a global chip manufacturing giant. K. Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Tata Consultancy Services, said that the combination of TCS’s deep industry expertise with AMD’s high-performance computing capabilities will empower organisations to move from AI experimentation to AI at scale and deployment. 

“Together, we plan to co-create industry-specific Gen AI solutions, modernise hybrid cloud and edge environments, and shape the next generation of intelligent workplace”, Krithivasan said. 

Dr Lisa Su, Chair and Chief Executive Officer, AMD, said that AI adoption is accelerating, and unlocking its potential requires a new scale of high-performance computing and deep collaboration across the industry. 

“AMD is building the open, end-to-end compute foundation that enables AI across the enterprise. Through our work with TCS, we are helping customers translate AI innovation into new growth opportunities across industries,” she added. 

TCS Q3 FY26 results 

TCS posted a profit of Rs 10,657 crore in Q3FY26, down 13.92% YoY from Rs 12,380 crore in Q3FY25. On a quarterly basis, the company reported a 11.74% decline in profit from Rs 12,075 crore in Q2FY26. 

TCS’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 67,087 crore in Q3 FY26. The company’s revenue registered a 4.87% YoY increase from Rs 63,973 crore reported in Q3 FY25.  On a quarterly basis, the company saw an increase of 2.31% from Rs 65,799 crore reported in Q2 FY26.
