Set to be launched in December 2015, bookings for the new Volkswagen Beetle commenced from Tuesday, October 17, in the country. Interested people can pre-book the car either through select Volkswagen dealerships across India or at http://www.bookmybeetle.in by paying Rs 1 lakh.

The new Volkswagen Beetle will feature a 1.4-litre TSI petrol mill that, mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, churns out 148bhp. Features such as 6 airbags, ESP and anti-lock braking system (ABS) make the Beetle quite a safe car to drive. Other key features on offer are – panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon headlamps, leather interiors and chrome packages for interior & exterior.
The new Volkswagen Beetle will be made available in a total of four colour options – Habanero Orange, Oryx White, Tornado Red and Blue Silk.
