Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India posted a 4.08 per cent YoY profit growth in the third quarter of FY26. The largest automaker of the country reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,879 crore in Q3 FY26. The company’s consolidated net profit in Q3 FY25 was at Rs 3,726 crore.
Further, Maruti Suzuki reported a 28.7 per cent YoY revenue growth in the quarter. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 49,904 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to a revenue of Rs 38,764 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The automaker said the quarter witnessed its highest-ever quarterly net sales.
Maruti Suzuki Q3 sales
Maruti Suzuki domestic sales jumped by 20.9 per cent on a year basis during the December quarter. It achieved its highest-ever quarterly domestic sales of 5,64,669 units in Q3 FY26 as compared to 4,66,993 units in the same quarter of the previous year.
The company said that due to the GST reform, there was a sharp recovery in the Indian car market, primarily led by the small car segment. “Out of this increase, the small car segment in the 18% GST bracket accounted for 68,328 units.” Maruti Suzuki said.
Maruti Suzuki clocked record total sales of 6,67,769 units, including exports of 1,03,100 units, in Q3 FY26. In the same quarter last year, the total sales were at 566,213 units, comprising domestic sales of 466,993 units and exports of 99,220 units.
Maruti Suzuki 9M FY26 business
In the first three quarters of FY26, i.e 9M FY26, Maruti Suzuki reported net sales of Rs 1,24,290 crore. The company’s revenue from net sales during the same period of the last fiscal year was at Rs 1,06,258 crore.
The company sold a total of 1,746,504 units during the first nine months of FY26, compared to 1,629,631 units in the same period of last fiscal year. Domestic sales during the three quarters were at 1,435,945 units, while exports totalled 310,559 units.
The automaker’s net profit during the period stood at Rs 10,854 crore, as against Rs 10,440 crore in the previous year.
