Infosys Q3FY26 Highlights: IT major Infosys reported a 2.23% year-on year (YoY) deecline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 6,654 crore from Rs 6,806 crore reported in Q3FY25.

On the sequential basis the company reported a decline of 9.64% from Rs 7,364 crore reported in Q2FY26.

Key highlights

#1. Labour code impact: Infosys has incurred Rs 1,289 crore one-time impact of new labour code effective from November 2025.

#2. FY26 guidance- The company raised the FY26 constant currency revenue growth guidance to 3% to 3.5%.

#3. Deal pipeline- Infosys reported large deal total contract value (TCV) of $4.8 billion, with 57% coming from net new deals.

#4. Attrition: Infosys’ total headcount increased by 5,043 employees sequentially to 337,034, while voluntary attrition (LTM) declined to 12.3%, compared with 14.3% in the previous quarter.

#5. Revenue growth: Despite a decline in profit, Infosys’ revenue increased 8.9% year-on-year (YoY) in Q3FY26 at Rs 45,479 crore, from Rs 41,764 crore reported in Q3FY25.

Infosys Q3 Results Live Updates: Large deal wins jump to $4.8 billion

Large order bookings, or deals over $30 million, stood at $4.8 billion in Q3FY26, compared to $3.1 billion in the ⁠previous quarter(Q2FY26) and $2.5 billion in Q3FY25.

Infosys in its Q3 release said that net profit of Rs 6,654 crore includes the one-time impact of Rs 1,289 crore rupees on ‌account of India's new ‍labour codes ⁠enacted ​in November 2025.

"The Group has assessed the financial implications of these changes which has resulted in increase in gratuity liability arising out of past service cost and increase in leave liability by Rs 1,289 crore," the company said.

Nuvama expects Infosys’ revenue to grow 0.4% QoQ in constant currency and 0.2% QoQ in US dollar terms, with lower third-party revenue on a year-on-year basis.

"EBIT margins are likely to expand by around 20 basis points QoQ, supported by Project Maximus and currency tailwinds." Nuvama said.

"The company is expected to maintain its FY26 revenue growth guidance of 2–3% in constant currency terms and EBIT margin guidance of 20–22%," it added.

Infosys Q3 Results, Earnings Live Updates: Kotak sees QoQ growth driven by large deal ramp-ups

Kotak Institutional Securities forecast a 1 QoQ growth in Infosys’ services business, led by the ramp-up of large deals won during the quarter.

“The Seasonality in the products business would have 180 bps qoq incremental contribution to overall revenue growth.” Kotak Institutional Securities.

For Infosys, the broker forecasts an underlying EBIT margin increase of 100 basis points quarter-over-quarter to 18.5%, after factoring in a 70-basis-point impact from restructuring charges.

“We expect healthy TCV of deal wins in the $2.5 bn range,” Kotak said.

Deven Choksey expects AI-driven digital transformation, large deal ramp-ups to drive the revenue growth. “We expect Infosys to report Q3FY26 revenue of Rs 44,965.9 crore, up 7.7% year-on-year (YoY), led by AI-driven digital transformation, large deal ramp-ups including the $1.6 Bn mega deal, and strength in Financial Services and Manufacturing,” a report by Deven Choksey noted.

Choksey expects EBITDA to be at Rs 10,957.1 crore, with margins improving to 24.4% on the back of Project Maximus savings, forex gains, a better offshore mix, and AI-led productivity. Net profit is estimated at Rs 7,490.6 crore, up 10.1% YoY, with margins rising to 16.6%.

IT peers TCS and HCLTech had reported its Q3FY26 earlier this week. Their profit was hit by the restructuring expenses due to new labour code. TCS reported a 14% decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 10,657 and incurred Statutory impact of new Labour Codes of Rs 2,128 crore in Q3FY26. HCLTech reported a 11.22% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 4,076 and incurred an One time impact of New Labour Codes of Rs 956 crore. HCLTech’s Q3 EBIT margin at Rs 6,285 crores also saw 81 bps impact of restructuring cost.

Axis Securities Equity Research expects furloughs and lower working days to keep Q3 growth modest. “We expect Infosys to report revenue growth of 2.7% QoQ, driven by deal ramp-ups, while furloughs and lower working days are likely to keep growth modest. The focus this quarter is also on the impact of the new labour codes on IT earnings.

Jefferies, in its report, noted that the changes introduced by the government, which came into effect from November 25, could lead to a one-time impact of 10–20% on profits in Q3FY26, while also pushing up recurring employee costs by as much as 5%.
