AXISCADES Technologies has bagged a new defence order worth around Rs 100 crore through its subsidiary, Mistral Solutions.

According to a BSE filing on January 19 announced that Mistral Solutions has received the order comes from the LLTR Ashwini programme, India’s indigenous Low-Level Transportable Radar system developed by DRDO and Bharat Electronics (BEL).

The project is part of India’s push to strengthen local defence manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports.

Two-year SDPU supply contract

Under the contract, Mistral Solutions will supply advanced Signal and Data Processing Units (SDPU), along with associated spares. The supplies will be delivered over a two-year period, providing stable revenue visibility for the company.

The SDPU systems will play a key role in detecting and tracking low-flying threats such as drones, helicopters and fighter aircraft.

Order strengthens Mistral’s position in DRDO and BEL pipeline

“The liquid-cooled SDPU meets extreme operational demands, showcasing proprietary expertise in embedded computing for next-gen radar platforms,” the company said in its BSE release.

The contract also positions Mistral to tap into a growing pipeline of defence electronics orders from DRDO and BEL as indigenous programmes scale up.

The company clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in BEL. It also confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions and has been awarded on an arm’s-length basis.

Mistral CEO says order supports India’s defence indigenisation push

Commenting on the development, C. Manikandan, CEO of Mistral Solutions, said, “The LLTR Ashwini programme win reflects Mistral’s continued commitment to supporting India’s defence indigenisation initiatives and contributing critical technologies to next-generation military systems.”

Bengaluru-headquartered AXISCADES Technologies is a chip-to-product engineering and technology solutions company with a strong presence in aerospace, defence, electronics, semiconductors and artificial intelligence applications.
