Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics (BEL), has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,579.70 crore in Q3FY26, increasing 20.44% from Rs 1,311.60 crore reported in Q3FY25.

The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,153.85 crore in Q3FY26, up 23.97% from Rs 5,770.69 crore reported in Q3FY25.

Profit up nearly 23% QoQ

On sequential basis the company has reported an increase of 23.51% in revenue from Rs 5,792.09 crore reported in Q2FY26 and profit saw an increase of 22.73% from Rs 1,287.16 crore reported in the previous quarter (Q2FY26).

New labour codes raise gratuity liability by Rs 1,662 lakh

BEL said that the company has incurred an impact of Rs 1,662 lakh because of the implementation of new labour codes.

“The company has assessed the financial impact of the new labour codes and said this has led to an increase in gratuity liability of Rs 1,662 lakh.” It added that it continues to closely monitor developments related to the implementation of the labour codes and will evaluate any further impact on employee benefit–related liabilities.

BEL order book stood at Rs 73,015 crore

The compay said thta BEL’s order book position remained strong at Rs 73,015 crore as on January 1, 2026, providing healthy revenue visibility for the coming quarters.

The company also noted that there is no material financial impact of conflict going on in Israel. In view of the ongoing conflicts in Israel, the company has analysed the existing contracts / agreements with Companies based in Israel. In our opinion there is no material financial impact as at the date of the results.

BEL’s order inflow hit Rs 1,802 crore in January 2026 itself. the latest order BEL received was on January 23 worth Rs 610 crore. These orders span communication equipment, medical electronics, thermal imagers, jammers, spares and services.

The share price of BEL increased 9.16% in the intra-day trade from the previous close on wednesday. The stock has gained 17.62% in past six months and 10.72% in past three months.
