Log9 Materials, an advanced battery technology company has inked a strategic partnership with ETO Motors, an Electric Mobility as a Service (eMaaS) and a manufacturer of electric three-wheeler vehicles, to provide sustainable and reliable battery solutions for ETO Motors’ fleet.
As per the understanding, Log9 Materials batteries will be retrofitted into ETO Motors’ e-three-wheelers replacing there 2-3 years old batteries. This upgrade the partners says will significantly enhance the range, efficiency, and overall performance of ETO Motors’ electric three-wheelers, while also reducing their environmental footprint.
Log9 Materials will provide ETO Motors with a unique Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, eliminating the upfront investment for battery purchase. Under this model, Log9 Materials will manage and maintain the batteries, ensuring optimal performance and timely replacement. This innovative approach provides ETO Motors with greater flexibility and affordability, allowing them to focus on their core business operations.
ETO Motors unique approach of running operations with a Women Empowerment programme, has fostered an inclusive work environment that promotes gender equality and social upliftment. This partnership not only supports the environment but also creates employment opportunities and financial stability for women drivers and their families. Notably, ETO Motors already runs an all women fleet at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat besides partnering with Nagpur Metro, Hyderabad Metro, Pune Metro for passenger first- and last-mile connectivity.
