The Job
My role is a balance between looking ahead and staying close to execution. I spend a significant amount of time working with investors, shaping strategy and driving growth across India and the US. At the same time, I stay involved in financial planning, key business decisions, ensuring our teams remain aligned on priorities while also overseeing senior hiring, branding, and partnerships. At its core, my role is about building a company that creates meaningful environments, because I believe the places we inhabit shape how we work, connect, and ultimately who we become.
The Weekdays
My weekdays are planned with military precision. I track my time closely through a weekly productivity matrix, which helps me stay focused on the priorities that matter most. Mornings are usually spent aligning priorities with the Founder’s Office, while the rest of the day moves between investor meetings, strategy reviews, growth discussions and business development across India and the US. Evenings often extend into the US time zone, making for packed but highly fulfilling days.
The Weekends
Music is my escape. When I’m not thinking about business, you’ll usually find me composing, writing lyrics, singing, or jamming with fellow musicians. Ritesh (one of the co-founders & head of Products at Flipspaces) and I launched Groovly Studios – a community-powered music label that brings together emerging artists, producers, and creators to collaborate and create original music. Spending time with musicians, producers, and creators allows me to step into a completely different world, one that is driven by expression, collaboration, and the joy of building something from scratch.
The Logos
The Tesla logo stands out because it’s simple, sharp, and instantly recognizable. I like designs that don’t try too hard yet leave a strong impression. Its clean lines and futuristic feel make the logo that remains memorable even at a glance.
The Toys
I like tools that keep life simple. My smartphone is my command centre for staying connected on the move, while my laptop and tablet are where most of my reading, planning, and reviews happen. A good pair of noise-cancelling headphones is indispensable, especially for calls across time zones. Beyond gadgets, the one tool I rely on most is my weekly productivity matrix, a personal system that helps me track where my time goes and stay focused on what matters most.
