Third Wave Coffee has announced the transition of Sushant Goel from his current role as chief executive officer to a member on the board and appointment of Rajat Luthra, as their new CEO. As per the company, the appointment is effective from Q1 FY 24-25.

In the new role, Goel will continue to contribute towards the growth and development of the coffee brand while Rajat Luthra will assume the position of CEO bringing in his wealth of experience to lead Third Wave Coffee into its next phase of success.

Moreover, Goel was responsible for steering the company’s business strategy and forging robust investor relations as CEO. In his capacity as a board member, he will continue to guide the strategic direction of the company and develop new initiatives for Third Wave Coffee.

Furthermore, the newly appointed CEO, Rajat Luthra, brings nearly three decades of experience in the FMCG and QSR sectors, of which during the last 10 years, he has been serving as the CEO of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) India & Nepal (Devyani International Limited).
