Jessica Jensen has been appointed as LinkedIn’s new chief marketing and strategy officer, effective 21 January. With over 25 years of experience in leadership roles at some of the world’s leading tech companies, Jensen brings a wealth of expertise to the position, the company added. She most recently served as chief marketing officer at Indeed, where she spearheaded global marketing strategies, brand development, and communications.

“I am elated to share that I’m joining LinkedIn as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. I’ve admired the company for over 20 years, and as many of you know, am a hyper-active poster. I have watched LinkedIn grow and innovate into a remarkable talent, advertising, and educational platform, all while helping so many people learn and grow as professionals.” Jensen shared through a LinkedIn post.

Prior to her time at Indeed, Jensen held senior leadership roles at several major organizations, including Booking.com, Meta (formerly Facebook), Apple, Yahoo!, and the Boston Consulting Group. Additionally, she serves on the board of Cardlytics and is a member of the f7 Operator Council, a network of influential female leaders in Silicon Valley who advise on marketing, growth, and product innovation. In her new role at LinkedIn, Jensen will report directly to Dan Shapero, COO, LinkedIn.
