Built on highly stiff space frame chassis as well as lightweight carbon fibre bodywork, aluminium sub-frame and the cast alloy swing arm that help keep dynamics under control thus offering a great level of flexibility to riders. The company further says that the heat management gills in the body as well as dorsal fin underneath the seat provide aerodynamic efficiency to the TVS Akula. Since the bike has a shark like look, it's named AKULA which means shark in Russian. Other interesting features are full-digital speedo, on board gyro cameras and a steering damper for additional stability. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, this engine churns out an impressive 34bhp at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 28Nm at 7,500rpm. The same engine will also power another 300cc TVS motorcycle that is under construction now. Other concept that is being showcased at the TVS Pavilion is the TVS X21, which features a 212.4cc, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine. The TVS X21 is built using aluminium and carbon fibre body and features monoshock suspension at the rear. This engine seems like another derivative of the TVS Apache RTR 200's engine.
