In a bid to increase its sales in the festive season, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the launch of a new dual-tone version of the Etios Liva in the country. While the petrol variant of the new model is priced at Rs 5.76 lakh, the diesel version costs Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This special edition is based on the regular V trim of the car, and only 400 units of this vehicle will be sold till December, 2015.
Besides the new dual-tone shade, the new Toyota Etios Liva gets rear roof spoiler, black grille & wing mirrors, and 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. The new model also comes with enhanced safety with several standard features such as dual front SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags, pre tensioner and force limiter front seatbelts. The vehicle’s cabin too gets added features like new wood finish, new dual-tone seat fabric and Bluetooth-supported audio system.
Mr. Akitoshi Takemura, Senior Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Since it’s just a limited edition, the vehicle receives no mechanical updates. It continues to feature the same 1.2-litre petrol (79bhp, 104Nm) and 1.4-litre diesel (67bhp, 170Nm).
