Renault Kwid, unquestionably, is one of the most popular cars of recent times, and all credit goes to its contemporary styling, practicality quotient, class-leading mileage figure, and, of course, extremely competitive pricing. Within a week of its launch, the car received around 25,000 bookings and the number now stands in excess of 50,000 in just over a month of its launch.
While the number of bookings paint a pretty picture, increasing waiting period on almost all variants could be troublesome for the French carmaker. The waiting period for the Renault Kwid in some cities has gone up to as much as 6 months. To control this situation and cater to the growing demand, the company has ramped up the production of the car.
