Mercedes-Benz that had unveiled the facelifted A-Class about 6 months ago, will be launching it in the Indian market on December 8, 2015. With features such as new bumpers, slightly different graphics for lighting clusters, updated headlamps, revised grille and a few other changes, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a mid-life facelift and not a new-generation product. The new A-Class will also get an all-new elbaite green colour.
More than exterior, it’s the new Mercedes A-Class’ cabin that has received more significant updates. It gets a new infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, optional 8-inch display, new control buttons, updated instrument cluster and new interior material and shades. The vehicle will also get more comfortable seats with 60mm more cushion depth.
Besides new features and styling updates, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift might also receive more powerful versions of its existing engines – 2.1-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre petrol. Upon launch, the updated Mercedes-Benz A-Class will also get new nomenclature for the diesel variant. Instead of 200 CDI, the new model will be called A 200 D.
