Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported a 6 per cent increase in total sales at 9,875 units in May.
The company had sold 9,290 units in May last year.
Sales for its heavy and medium commercial vehicles rose 8 per cent to 7,469 units last month as against 6,888 units in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.
Light commercial vehicles sales remained flat at 2,406 units compared with 2,402 units in May last year.
