The Honda WR-V is a crossover based on the Honda Jazz's platform. It is powered by a 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol and i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol engine generates 88 hp of power and 114 Nm of torque while the diesel produces 98 hp of power and 200 Nm of torque. The petrol engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. However, the diesel engine is not expected to be offered with an automatic transmission and only gets a 6 speed manual transmission. The Honda WR-V measure less than four metres in length and benefit from the relaxation in duties for compact SUVs. In terms of safety, the Honda WR-V is offered with dual front airbags, ISOFIX mounts for child seats and ABS (Anti lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution).
