Volvo XC60 2018 Cars
The second generation Volvo XC60 is based on the the Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) which is a modular platform that also underpins the Volvo XC90, S90 and the V90. Volvo XC60 is currently being offered on the top diesel engine variant and is priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (Ex-Delhi). The brand XC60 has been a successful one for the company here in India and has contributed to about 30% of its total sales. Volvo XC60 currently comes to India via the CBU route and the company might start the local assembly of the SUV sometime later in 2018 from its assembly plant in Bengaluru. Volvo XC60 SUV is being offered in three exterior and three interior colour options. 2018 Volvo XC60’s wheelbase is 4.2 inch shorter than the Volvo XC90 but is still 3.6 inch longer than the first-generation Volvo XC60 which has helped Volvo to increase the rear seating space. The XC60 is also longer, wider and shorter than its predecessor.

The new XC60’s design carry forwards Volvo’s dynamic design language and the face of the vehicle is very similar to that of Volvo XC90. Volvo XC60 incorporates Thor’s hammer sideways T-shaped LED headlights. The use of SPA platform has allowed the designers at Volvo Cars to diminish the XC90 and making it affordable in the form of XC60.
The new 2018 Volvo XC60 follows Volvo's family design that has been adopted already on the Volvo XC90 SUV and the Volvo V90 cross country, featuring thor hammer shaped LED front headlamp cluster and overall looks a proportionate small SUV.
Volvo XC60 gets Bowers & Wilkins music system with 15 speakers. Buyers will also be spoiled by the cushioned massage seats.
