Volvo Cars India is a Swedish carmaker that sells a number of products in India. Volvo is one of the few companies that focusses on active and passive safety features and keeps it a top priority. In 1959, the company introduced the three-point seatbelt and did not put a patent on it so that other car manufacturers could benefit from it. The Volvo Group is currently a fully owned subsidiary of the Zheijiang Geely Holding Group of China and sells the V40, V40 Cross Country, S60, S60 Cross Country, S90, XC 60, XC90 and XC90 Excellence in India.
