MG ZS EV all-electric SUV is currently available for sale in India in two variants namely Excite and Exclusive. The vehicle was launched at a starting price of Rs 20.88 lakh (ex-showroom). The ZS EV is the company’s second model to go on sale in India after the Hector SUV. The ZS EV is being assembled locally at the company’s production facility in Halol, Gujarat. Initially, the MG ZS EV is available in five cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Bookings for the MG ZS EV started in India on 21st December and the company received over 2800 bookings before the bookings closed on 17th January 2020.

The maximum range claimed by the company is 340 km on a single full charge. In terms of acceleration, the electric SUV can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds. Moreover, you get three levels of regenerative braking and three driving modes.

    MG ZS EV gets three driving modes and as we have mentioned earlier, the vehicle also comes with three levels of regenerative braking. The MG ZS EV gets an automatic transmission and hence, no need of changing gears while on the go.
