The Land Rover Range Rover is a luxury SUV offered by the British carmaker in India which iw powered by two petrol and two diesel engines in different states of tune that are mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission sourced from ZF which sends power to all wheels via an all-wheel-drive system. Features available on the Land Rover Range Rover include an automatic climate control, cruise control, a touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, panoramic roof and more. The Land Rover Range Rover is also available in hybrid versions only for diesel engine options that has three driving modes, Electric Vehicle, Sport and Auto Start/Stop mode.In terms of safety, the SUV comes with seatbelt warning for every occupant, curtain airbags with rollover sensing, seat belt pretensioners and ISOFIX points for child seats. For the long wheelbase variant or LWB, the length is 5,199 mm, height is 1,840 mm and wheelbase is 3,120 mm while the width remains same. The 3.0 litre V6 supercharged petrol engine generates 339 hp of power in its lower state of tune and 379 hp of power in its higher state of tune, both at 6,500 rpm. Torque remains the same at 450 Nm from 3,500 rpm to 5,000 rpm. The 5.0 litre supercharged V8 petrol engine generates 509 hp of power from 6,000 rpm to 6,500 rpm in its lower state of tune and 549 hp of power from 6,000 rpm to 6,500 rpm in its higher state of tune. Torque on the less powerful engine is 625 Nm from 2,500 rpm to 5,500 rpm and 680 Nm of torque from 3,500 rpm to 4,000 rpm. The 3.0 litre diesel engine produces 257 hp of power at 3,750 rpm and 600 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 2,250 rpm. The hybrid version of the 3.0 litre diesel motor generates 353 hp of power and 700 Nm of torque. The most powerful 4.4 litre supercharged V8 diesel engine churns out 338 hp of power and 740 Nm of torque.

The zero to 100 kmph time of the 3.0 litre V6 petrol is 7.4 seconds and 7.3 seconds and 5.4 seconds for the 5.0 litre V8 petrol trim. The 3.0 litre hybrid and 4.4 litre V8 diesel options have the same performance timing of 6.9 seconds while the 3.0 litre V6 version achieves 100 kmph from idle in 7.9 seconds.
