The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a performance SUV in its segment which is available in four versions, S, SE, HSE and Autobiography. The new Range Rover Sport features park assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, adaptive speed limiter and other safety features. The underbody is now 420kgs lighter than its previous version which improves fuel efficiency. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is available as a seven seater only wherein the third and the second row can be folded in order to get more cargo space when needed. Land Rover is offering the Range Rover Sport in diesel and petrol engines which are a 3.0 litre V6 diesel and a 5.0 litre V8 petrol. Both engines are supercharged and generate 293 hp of power (diesel) and 509hp of power (petrol) respectively. These engines are mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission sourced from ZF. In addition to the powertrain, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport features variable damper technology, Dynamic Active Locking Differential (DALD) and electric power steering making it easier as well as safe to drive.
