The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a performance SUV in its segment which is available in four versions, S, SE, HSE and Autobiography. The new Range Rover Sport features park assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, adaptive speed limiter and other safety features. The underbody is now 420kgs lighter than its previous version which improves fuel efficiency. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is available as a seven seater only wherein the third and the second row can be folded in order to get more cargo space when needed. Land Rover is offering the Range Rover Sport in diesel and petrol engines which are a 3.0 litre V6 diesel and a 5.0 litre V8 petrol. Both engines are supercharged and generate 293 hp of power (diesel) and 509hp of power (petrol) respectively. These engines are mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission sourced from ZF. In addition to the powertrain, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport features variable damper technology, Dynamic Active Locking Differential (DALD) and electric power steering making it easier as well as safe to drive.

The new Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered with a redesigned front grille paired to LED headlamps with fog lamps in the bumper. All variants also get an electric sunroof LED tail lamps, exhausts finished in chrome and a host of other features, Land Rover is presently offering the Range Rover Sport in 18 colours, Zermatt Silver, Bournville, Rimini Red, Santorini Black, Stornoway Grey, Fuji White, Bali Blue, Baltic Blue, Ipanema Sand, Nara Bronze and Marmaris Teal.
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport features panoramic electric sunroof, power windows, heated front windshield leather covered dashboard, heated power steering and an rotary dial instead of a gear lever for the transmission. In addition, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport has 14 way electrically adjustable front seats that also feature a massage function. The second row seats have a 60 40 split fold function and can also recline. Other features include a remote power operated tail gate, soft door closing function, mood lighting,a 23 speaker sound system with Dynamic Equalisation, Audyssey MultEQ XT audio tuning and 3D sound stage. The infotainment system is a 12.3 inch touchscreen unit that supports navigation as well as Bluetooth. The windscreen also features a Head up Display or HUD for navigation which reduces distraction of the driver.
Land Rover has equipped the Range Rover with a 3.0 litre TDV6 diesel engine and a 5.0 litre suprcharged V8 petrol motor. The diesel engine produces 288hp of power and 600 Nm of torque whille the petrol motor generates 503 hp of power and 625 Nm of torque. Both engines have performance figures comparable to its segment.
Both engines in the Land Rover Range Rover Sport are offered with an 8 speed automatic transmission that has been sourced from ZF. This gearbox is also paired with an all wheel drive system which enables the SUV to tackle off road conditions with ease.
