The exteriors of the Kia Seltos are quite butch. It gets LED headlamps and a dominating ‘Tiger Nose’ grille up-front. It comes with faux skid plates along with black plastic cladding that grant it a dominating look. The side profile of this compact SUV consists of bold character lines and swelled wheel arches. At the back, the wraparound tail-lamps are linked together with a thick chrome strip which runs along the length of the boot-lid. There is a small roof-mounted spoiler on the back as well.
The interiors of the Kia Seltos are quite premium. The cabin has a dual-tone colour scheme of black and beige. The top-half of the dashboard is covered with soft-touch materials. The Seltos comes with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, steering mounted audio controls among other features. With the variant reshuffle, now the lower variants of the Kia Seltos also get a sunroof. Moreover, the UVO connected app also gets some additional features.
The engine line-up of the Kia Seltos consists of two petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol line-up consists of a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated motor which is capable of churning out 115 hp of power along with 144 Nm of peak torque. In addition to this, there is a 1.4-litre, turbocharged petrol engine on offer as well which is good for 140 hp of power along with 242 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre, turbocharged unit which is good for 115 hp of power along with 240 Nm of peak torque.
All the engines available with the Kia Seltos are paired as standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5-litre petrol also comes with an option of a CVT automatic gearbox. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol is also available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic as well.
The Kia Seltos comes with disc brakes up-front, as well as at the back.
