The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pickup truck measures 5,295 mm in length, 1,860 in width, 1,840 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,095 mm. The flat bed has a loading capacity of 265 kg and is 1,485 mm in length, 1,530 in width and 430 mm in depth. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is available in five exterior colour options, Cosmic Black, Obsidian Grey, Orchid Brown, Titanium Silver and Splash White. The front and rear track measure the same at 1,570 mm and the pickup truck is offered with 245/70 section tyres on 16 inch alloy wheels and the spare wheel of the same dimensions comes with a steel rim.
The interior of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is offered with steering mounted audio controls, a multi information display, and an automatic climate control with pollen filter. The dashboard comes in a dual tone black/beige colour option with beige fabric seats. The driver’s seat is offered with a 6-way height adjust and the front seat belts can also be adjusted to suit the front occupant height. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has a touchscreen infotainment system that also supports Bluetooth connectivity along with USB, AUX and CD Playback. However, this unit does not support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or MirrorLink Connectivity for smartphones and does not have navigation.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is powered by a four cylinder, common rail, turbocharged diesel engine that produces 134 hp of power at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque from 1,800 rpm to 2,800 rpm. These performance figures are reasonable to tackle any road conditions and the engine sends its power to all wheels or rear wheels through the 5 speed manual transmission and the ‘Shift-on-the-fly’ all wheel drive system.
Transmission on the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is a 5 speed manual gearbox and there is no option of an automatic. This unit sends power to the rear wheels which can be shifted to all the wheels during off roading through a ‘Shift-on-the-fly’ all wheel drive system.
In terms of safety, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is offered with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and BA (Brake Assist), dual front airbags, ISOFIX anchorages for child seat, engine immobiliser and pedestrian friendly front fascia.
