Hyundai Elantra Transmission
There are four transmission options available for the petrol and diesel engines – two 6-speed manual and two 6- speed automatic. The manual transmissions are really crisp and gear changes are smooth without any notchiness. In fact, the ratios are also aligned properly on both the engines so that gear changes are not frequent in bumper-to-bumper traffic. As for the automatics, the changes are smooth with no pronounced gear change feel and the ratios for their respective transmissions are placed for maximum fuel efficiency. That said, power is transferred swiftly to the front wheels in case it is needed.
