The BMW X7 coms with two engine options in India. The petrol derivatives gets a 2,998 cc, 6-cylinder engine capable of churning out 340 hp of peak power in-between 5,500 – 6,500 rpm along with 450 Nm of peak torque in-between 1,500 – 5,200 rpm. The diesel engine of the BMW X7 is also a 6-cylinder unit. This 2,993 cc oil-burner is capable of churning out 265 hp of peak power at 4,000 rpm along with 620 Nm of peak torque in-between 1,500 – 2,500 rpm.
All engines of the BMW X7 are equipped with an 8 speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The transmission offers smooth gear changes and feature well-tuned ratios that offers a good balance between fuel efficiency and performance.
The BMW X7 comes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist and Automatic Differential Brake (ADB-X).
